Arthouse Legends Podcast

Welcome to Arthouse Legends Podcast - Where High Art and Geek Culture Collide! The goal of this podcast is to take a look at critically acclaimed and well-received films and consider if these films truly deserve their revered status in the cultural zeitguest. In 2009, arthouse auteur Wes Anderson decided to transition from making adult-themed live action films in order to create a stop motion animated film based on Roald Dahl's children's book, Fantastic Mr. Fox. Utilizing an a-list cast including George Clooney and Meryl Streep about a family of foxes trying to survive a trio of angry farmers bent on exacting revenge. But does the film deserve the Oscar nomination and the revival of Anderson's career or should it have died in a trashcan behind a Chinese restaurant? MovieDude Eric, Kent and Chris find out.
