At the height of the silent film era, German visionary Fritz Lang put together the most expensive and epic film product of that time. Set in a dystopian future city where the the prosperous and privilege live on the surface while the poor and desperate live underground and using every technical trick available, the film was harolded internationally, though mercilessly cut to the point of near destruction.
