In 1944, famed filmmaker Billy Wilder teamed up with acclaimed novelist Raymond Chandler to create one of the most controversial crime films of all time about an insurance agent (Fred McMurray) who gets caught up in the scheme of a beautiful married femme fatale (Barbara Stanwyck) to murder her husband.
